What does a Custom Game Show Include?

Using state-of-the-art Game Show Mania® gaming systems and professional hosts, we literally create a complete TV-style Game Show atmosphere during your event. This makes our Custom Game Show a FUN, UNIQUE and ENTERTAINING experience for both the contestants and the audience! Besides, who wouldn't like to win cash or prizes for answering a few questions?

Our Custom Game Shows include the compact game show systems pictured and features stand-up player positions with buzzer lock-out, authentic game show sounds, an entertaining game show host and ALL the game show fun any group can handle!

How is a Custom Game Show Played?

One of the most intriguing set of trivia questions that we offer are ones based on your company, school or guests. We ask that you jot down a series of questions that will add a personal touch to your events. Your guests will roar with laughter as questions they know (or should know) the answers to, are posed to the contestants. Depending on your preferences- the questions can be whole answer, multiple-choice, True/False, Fill-in-the-Blank or a combination of all of these different types.

We also have over 50,000 generic questions which can be used. These questions focus on subjects like TV Shows, Movies, Music, Famous People, History, Sports, Sci-fi and many others. These fun and easy generic questions can be used with your own customized questions or used alone.

Although we do not COPY TV game show formats exactly, our Custom Game Shows do have rounds with questions similar to those seen on popular TV Game Shows. Our Custom Game Shows are played using pre-determined teams, so there is no need to worry about individual embarrassment.

We also use HILARIOUS physical challenges to spice up the event even more- including "The Scavenger Hunt", "Stuffed", "Connect" and very entertaining "Executive Truth or Dare" type challenges.

During our Custom Game Shows, EVERYONE- whether in the audience or as a contestant, will be involved in the show- regardless of their age, sex, race, education or any other factors. We can present shows for groups of only 12 people or for extremely large events with thousands of attendees!

How long are the Custom Game Shows?

Our Custom Game Shows are fast-paced, interactive and unique programs. One and a half hours is the maximum recommended running time. But for day-long events, rounds can also be played over several hours with hour breaks in between each round. The two different approaches to the game help ensure full enjoyment of the game show experience!

Game Play
Play all types of trivia games! Emulate popular Feud type games, play face off games outlined below, or use either of our two Factoid & Trivia Question Books or any Game Show Mania discs to create a fun game for all ages!

FACE-OFF! Game ideas

Individual Play:
Simply have one contestant at each player location and ask easy questions in a fast paced manner and keep track of which contestant answers the most questions correctly.

Team Play:
Line up 3, 4, 5 or more contestants at each player position (relay style) and ask the first two Face Off contestants a question. The one that locks out first and answers correctly stays in the game and moves to the back of the line. The contestant that did not lockout first or locked out and answered incorrectly is out of the game. Continue play in this manner until one team no longer has any players. The remaining players are now the winners.

FACE-OFF! Brain Game

Object of the game:
The "Brain" (lead player) must answer three questions in a row correctly against three different competitors on the other side of the podium, in order to win. Game set-up: A seemingly endless number of competitors attempt to defeat the "Brain". The "Brain" stands behind one player position and about 20 competitors line up (relay style) behind opposite player position. The host asks relatively easy, fast moving questions. Each time a new question is asked a new competitor moves up to compete against the "Brain".

Competitor scenarios:
If the competitor lockouts out first and answer the question wrong, or the "Brain" lockouts out first and answers correctly the competitor is out and finds his/her seat. If the competitor locks out first and answers correctly he/she assumes the "Brain" position. At this point the "Brain" is down the drain and the audience is encouraged to insult (in a fun loving' way) the Ex-Brain. SEE-YA! Usually works well!

"Brain" scenarios:
Each time the "Brain" answers a question correctly he/she receives a point (or whatever you designate) and wins if he/she gets 3 points. Keep in mind that if the "Brain" is beaten' to the draw by the competitor, and the answer is correct, or the "Brain" locks out first and answers incorrectly, the "Brain" is out. The "Brian" does not gain points when a competitor answers incorrectly, nor does the "Brain" have the opportunity to answer a question after the competitor.
